Aries Forecast for October 2020
(March 21 – April 19)
October brings a mix of tensions and ease both for all the signs.
A long range trend is developing from now through December 2020 for all the zodiac signs which reflects an increasingly unreliable, or confusing situation. It’s been operating like a subtle, thrumming undercurrent since early summer and continues into the first couple months of the New Year.
For Aries, some of this will be apprehension toward news headlines, accompanied by a sneaking disquiet and unsettled feeling, especially when it comes to realising what’s being said does not add up, especially when it comes to your philosophical beliefs and ethics. You could be feeling as if something’s awry with school (say, your heart’s there, but you’d like to see some policy changes). If asked to travel for work—it would meet with the same sentiment. Overseas travel may continue to be restricted, and one or more news stories could emerge regarding quandaries faced by the transportation industries, in addition to increasing doubt cast upon the efficacy of media reportage and mail delivery.
Without question: there’s some bending and smearing of legalities and foreign policy transpiring behind the scenes, along with diplomatic tensions.
October’s version of this shows up during the second half of the month in the form of a disappointment or deflated expectation that probably first took shape as a hopeful wish, at best. Unforeseen delays are likely regarding any kind of paperwork and communication, legal or otherwise.
Arians face an intense effort at work this month that bears potential for conflict intended to bring about a transformation, but there’s not much squeak room to negotiate right now. You’re being advised to trim and excise something that could transform the budget, or you could be the one who literally requires something trimmed and excised. This could also be a situation where authorities decide to halt an initiative due to budget constraints. Either way, this involves an ouch factor as a forceful redirection of your efforts, and for the moment (on through November) this speaks of one giant stalemate.
October 1st marks a two-week trend where you or the other party whom you are negotiating with is up in arms. For one person, everything seems to be running amok between work and home and personally, all whilst the other party appears to be coolly organised and articulate…and perhaps a little overly optimistic. The overly optimistic person is a collaborator, a spouse or a personal advisor.
If you have children, their schooling situation seems to be on track, but somehow, their schedule may hit a snag later on toward October 18th. During the first week of October, be prepared for what could be either an unexpected expense or a lump sum payment (it’s hard to tell which way this will go). It could be a flex plan reimbursement, tax rebate, if not an expense for some electronic device like a phone or a computer.
At this point, you’re probably asking what DOES comes easy this month? Look toward your old connections with former employers and coworkers, ones who taught you well on the job. One of these people served as advisor/mentor people and encouraged you to learn. Open up a dialogue with them or simply with yourself–step inside their shoes for a minute to see how they would approach and problem-solve a situation.
Your inspiration will come from this source, and not only will doing so help you see the deeper ramifications–you’ll be able to articulate your goals clearly and put them into action in a constructive and positive way. Also, know that you have higher-ups who speak well of your efforts from behind the scenes (even if you are not aware of it). You’ve earned a reputation for being helpful and compassionate with a strong sense of ethics.
In the days surrounding October 11th, keep your eyes open for freelancing and employment opportunities–what you push will result in the success you create for yourself, and it’s likely to come in the form of teaching or working with someone you’ve known from the past. Take advantage of any social events, especially if it means catching up with work colleagues, as this all points toward a serendipitous event that comes together through initiative and socialising. You could be making strides in teaching, sales or simply with helping someone else get organised. If you’re a writer, this indicates a chance to land an agent or a publisher. If you have a legal matter on your plate, this time period suggests a settlement offer.
Mercury turns retro from October 13th through November 3rd, indicating delays and mix-ups with a financial document or an outside payment or an insurance issue. Refrain from signing anything until well after November 3rd, if at all possible. And hold off on purchasing electronic devices at this time time, especially if it’s something along the lines of a new mobile phone.
Mid-October gets a little sticky–and also marks a new 4-week trend that requires you to pay attention to the days surrounding October 15-17th because this sets the tone for mid-November: contention meets with persuasiveness and pressure coming from someone who wants you to do something their way or the highway. In essence, you’re being asked to find a creative solution to what feels like a bit of strong-arming.
Keep an eye on your competition because dirty tactics are afoot and the action and negotiation is completely stalled, hanging on tenterhooks, even if you have an advocate working on your behalf. Indecision is nobody’s friend at this point. This may be overstating the obvious but…avoid talking politics in the workplace.
While there is a “win” toward October 18th, it may also smack of disappointment to some degree. Alternately, this may not be a work situation at all but one that also indicates a family member who is bent on purging and renovating their space at home, perhaps a little too zealously.
Pay attention to the days surrounding October 20-21st because these days do suggest a job opportunity. It offers some structure and progress in what looks to be a month that has been filled with big emotions and reactions. Do your best to maintain an even keel because if you permit yourself to get caught up in any big sweeping emotion, it will be easy to take a path of excess, especially when it comes to slapping stuff onto the credit cards in the name of enterprise and work. You’re earning during the course of this month, but it may all go to cover bills.
Halloween delivers a trick or treat of a blue full moon, with the trick arriving as closure to a situation at work over the next two weeks where you may have encountered some setbacks and contentiousness, while the treat offers a new collaboration with a coworker regarding healthy revisions to work policies. Alternately, this could speak of a close partner’s need to travel at the drop of a hat to address a family concern.
