Cancer Forecast for October 2020
(June 21 – July 22)
October is a month of big emotions and a conflict, most likely with a weak-willed authority figure who likes to take the easy way out. Expect to be in the hot seat for these next two weeks, which also means: take care of yourself because you’re dealing with some unpleasant customers at this time. On the plus side, as one door closes, another one opens.
Another trend this month which has been on a slow simmer for all the sun signs since lockdown, is that of a big question mark, and, for Cancerians, it expresses concern with making sales or transactions, publishing, teaching/education or traveling during the pandemic. Right now, you may be concerned about your loved ones and collaborating with a close partner whilst searching for a way to remedy the situation. Perhaps you have a relative who is located at a distance who was feeling under the weather. It’s simply going to be very difficult to depend on any expert for advice at this time because no one feels fully informed.
Be mindful during the first week of October, as it speaks of a coercive, challenging situation that tests your authority. You may be dealing with a very demanding individual who wants you to refine and transform your efforts. Either you or the other party is not cooperating. It’s a bit of drama that fills one side of your plate. If you can, alter your focus toward what’s working rather than getting distracted by a sideshow. This appears to be a new development at work that is active and dynamic and involves sports or entertainment in a local arena. You could be interviewing or working with well-respected experts. In simpler terms, this could be an entertaining work outing.
Towards 10/10, friends may share their resources with you or take you out for a night on the town. You’ll want to refrain from getting your hopes up too much regarding a financial negotiation or any kind of brokered negotiation, especially as Mercury turns retrograde from 10/13 through November 3rd, as all falls under review. Don’t sign anything official until the days following November 3rd, if possible. Cancerians have considerable support and empathy coming from a close partner—or if you’re not about to launch into a trip afar with someone close, there’s a chance they may arrive on your doorstep instead.
October 16th brings a new 4-week trend that will be decidedly tense, as you’re preparing to shed one skin to step into another. It’s a bittersweet moment that offers closure and contentious emotions as you stand to see a revision and purge at work and of the past just as you launch a new start at work.
The days surrounding October 18th speak of some disappointment based on earlier expectations, such as a promise that’s not kept or a trip or a class that doesn’t turn out as planned. Chin up, though, because it seems as if you’ve caught the attention of a savvy expert who is able to negotiate on your behalf. If you are looking for a new living space or shopping for a major appliance—let a close partner take care of it because they’ll be able to get the best deal.
The 21st speaks of a gathering that has potential to make quite an impact in terms of lining you up with some heavy hitters. The days nearing the 24th indicate that you’re making solid progress and can rely on trusted council to give you sound advice. The implicit caution is whether or not you should push this matter beyond what you are able to afford—don’t bet the house on it or permit your emotions to get the best of you.
Halloween delivers a blue moon bag of tricks & treats—the trick will be a decision within the next 2 weeks of whether or not to set aside a cherished goal in order to pursue a risky financial venture, and the treat will be the advice you receive from those close to you and from within your social networks.
