Socializing becomes curtailed considerably toward the 6th as you bunker down to focus on your long-range plans, which could include educating yourself on the mechanics or technical details of whatever captures your interest.  

Toward 1.8.21 through 1.13.21, a friend or colleague can offer you a tip that leads you to just the person you need who can advise you.  Mind your spending at this time and don’t do anything in haste, which could be easier said than done because a lot appears to be happening very quickly and unexpectedly in the upcoming week.

January 13th through the 23rd is the hot potato week—one that could deliver swift, jarring news that implies strain and difficulties for a close partner as they attempt to juggle concerns at home and with work.  If you are enrolled in school, this speaks of an abrupt halt or disruption.  If you had travel plans, it’s the same—not advisable.  Nor is it advisable to sign important legal documents in a hurry or under duress because this implies missing details, miscommunications or some complication, if not an underhanded tactic or simply something you cannot see because it’s buried.   This week marks a 4-week trend of profound transformation where you will be making a fresh start on an old matter that’s been on hold—at least it was in December.  Now you can proceed anew.  This has the potential of becoming wildly contentious but relies on your sharp insight into politics and machinations in order to bring order to the table.  If you are looking to become an expert or an elected official, while you have some detractors, you have more boosters so trust in your advocacy.
