August is going to be a weird month for everyone.  That’s why I posted a heads-up earlier about the span of dates running from 7/28 to 8/13.  That’s the wide bell curve, a series of trip and trigger points for what culminates toward 8/12.  As far as world news goes, July’s chart bears the markings of endings and new beginnings in terms of leadership for more than one country, for starters. (Think of 10 Downing Street and Sri Lanka.) 

Taurean weather for August looks like it brings a power play regarding an old matter.  July 28th sets the 4-week picture that extends into much of August, and is speaks of a few possible scenarios:  1.  A massive transition—the end of being in one place and the beginning of being in another in terms of living spaces or a situation that you’ve been in for a very long time, career-wise; 2.  A fresh start, but one that is taken in rapid, fiery or impulsive way that could feel abrupt; 3. A big property sale where you want better and deserve better, and your friends are supporting you with this.  It’s a desire for fresh optimism in the aftermath of whatever what wasn’t working, and it’s a self-directed move, though clearly not the easiest one to make as a lot is weighing on your mind.  Think of “Should I Stay (or Go Now)” by The Clash.  By August 1st, you’re itchy to take action.  

August 7th is a strange day, in that everything is wonderful—a great time envisioning your goals or spending a pleasant time with friends somewhere local, having a pleasant conversation…then there’s a big fat nope from on high that could feel restrictive and difficult, on through the 11th.  Emotionally, it feels like a power play that dredges up old memories and insecurities.  

August 12th presages a 2-week theme of: 1. parting ways, perhaps abruptly, with a woman who has long time been in service to your work, or landing a rejection from someone you’d hope to partner with; 2.  Renovating your living space or making a quick move, which entails getting rid of a lot of stuff.  3.  Psychologically and emotionally, getting rid of this kind of “baggage”; 4. Possible rejection of a property sale at the last minute.  The theme is of letting go in order to make way for the new.  For some Taureans, this suggests a difficult conversation or one that you’re brooding over for not wanting to throw the baby out with the bathwater. 

The 14th-16th suggests a favorable response from someone who’s in a position of clout.  The only thing is, there’s something odd or unclear about a payout—like a flight of fancy, an oversight.  The other possibility is that a child or a loved one could be missing some important travel details, and all this describes the days toward the 21st.  At the same time, there’s potential for a reimbursement or windfall that appears to fall into place between 8/14-8/22, and this seems like a very fast chain of events that indicates parting ways with an authority figure  who played a part in your career for a long time.
