Taurus Forecast for October 2020
(April 20 – May 20)
October is filled with ups and downs for all the zodiac signs, though things start off well enough for Bulls this month. Starting in about late July, it looks as if you’ve become more self-isolating and restless, frustrated by an impasse when it comes to completing a project. Essentially, your work has been interrupted due to circumstances beyond your control. Don’t worry—you’ll be swinging and sparring your way back on track toward the second half of November.
For a good part of October, a positive creative flow will be your source of strength, and, if you have children, this constructive period applies to them as well. Perhaps they have an out-of-town visitor, an unexpected trip or a new work prospect. You’re such an efficient dynamo! Last second or online social gatherings would actually serve you well, and some outside sum appears to be coming your way as a rebate or refund this month, if it hasn’t already.
October 1st launches a 2-week trend that suggests you’ll want to monitor your workload and be prepared to say no to more than you can reasonably take on. Take care of your health and take time out, if you need! Alternately, some news comes out of the woodwork via an expert advisor or a city official. This regards a past matter and dealing with a person who leaves you feeling frustrated anyway. Lay low and try not to take on more than you can chew, as now is not the time.
Apart from all of this, a very subtle trend is developing between now and the end of the year, which, for Taurus, plays out as a need to put a goal on hold due to financial uncertainties…or, you may find that you cannot make concrete plans because the sands keep shifting. A friend or someone within your social network may be absent or hard-to-reach.
Expect nothing—and simply know that it’s okay to be skeptical or uncertain, especially where any collaborative ventures or joint funds are involved. Toward late October, during the week of the 18th, one round of this trend is likely to play out (for all signs) as a disappointment. For Taurus, it could be that a planned risk or recreational outing doesn’t play out as imagined. A trip and possibly a work prospect meets with heavy delays punctuated by question marks.
October 8th brings either unexpected or tense communication with a close partner or a collaborator regarding a work matter, and this is likely a frustrating response that demands that you revise your efforts. (Relax and try again in mid-November.) October 10-12th offers a pleasant social gathering or a date night. This could include an eclectic bunch of people whom you work with, or you might meet someone unusual and brilliant whom you’d like to work with.
Mercury runs retrograde between October 13th through November 3rd, which means HOLD THAT THOUGHT: pay attention now to whatever correspondence you exchange with a close partner, a collaborator or a personal advisor because this person may return in mid-November with a new development, probably no less vexing, but at least it’s an update.
October 16th marks a new 4-week trend that is ideal for eradicating old habits and beliefs as well as losing pandemic pounds, if so inclined. This also suggests a new work opportunity, such as a lucrative real estate sale or a collaborative creative project that pays off—yet there’s a distinctly restrictive, if not coercive quality that requires your best diplomacy efforts, particularly with a woman. This part of the month is subject to digging and rooting for information regarding a past matter. Reign in any leanings toward emotional impulsivity toward the 17th, but then try not to become overly self-critical the following day, as ultimately, haste makes waste and big feelings blow over.
The days surrounding October 21st appear to be a stand-out of romantic or creative intensity. If you give yourself some solitary time to play, it could lead toward a healthy and inspired transformation. Sometimes, this can be as simple as a quick getaway trip with a close partner.
October 24th offers a mixed day of being right on track and on point with your schedule yet feeling off and emotional. If you need to talk things out with a family member, the 25thprovides that opportunity. Halloween offers a blue (second) full moon that says hang on to your (costume hat) over the next two weeks because unexpected news may be in the offing through a close partner or someone who works directly with you in an advisory capacity—between now and mid-November. (Of course, if I knew exactly what it was, it would be not be surprising.).
You should feel confident that you’re landing some good advice that will help your career move forward. Under ordinary circumstances, I’d say this indicates potential for a quick trip, but it’s also good news for any kind of self-motivated, online learning, writing/publishing, or handling electronic documents in such a way that boosts your career.
